Chess & Coding Camp — July Session 1

About this event

Five days of chess and Scratch coding at Blue Parrot Bangkok. Mornings are dedicated to Scratch — kids build their own games and animations using MIT's free visual coding platform, no prior experience needed. Afternoons focus on chess strategy: openings, tactics, endgames, and blitz games. Ends with a coding showcase, coding awards, and trophy ceremony on Friday.

What to bring

• →Bring a pencil and notebook for chess notation and project notes
• →Swimwear and a change of clothes — Blue Parrot has a pool for lunch breaks
• →Water bottle recommended; lunch, snacks & drinks are provided every day
• →No chess set or laptop needed — we provide all equipment
• →Drop-off from 09:45 · pick-up at 16:30 each day
• →On Friday, parents are welcome from 16:00 for the coding showcase & trophy ceremony
