Common Questions
Everything about the Asoke class
Where exactly is the class held?
We meet at True Space Asoke — a short walk from BTS Asoke (Exit 3) and MRT Sukhumvit. The venue is air-conditioned with dedicated tables for chess.
What level does my child need to be?
This class is designed for beginners — children who know the basic rules and how each piece moves. If your child has never played at all, we recommend one private lesson first so they can get up to speed.
What age is the class for?
We recommend ages 6–12. Younger children often do better with our private Chess Story Time program; older or more advanced players may prefer our Nana Sunday class.
How much does it cost?
The first class is completely free. After that, each 1.5-hour session costs 4 credits from our credit package system. See the Fees page for package pricing.
What does my child need to bring?
Nothing — we provide boards, pieces, and all materials. Just bring your child and their enthusiasm!
Is the class taught in Thai or English?
The class is taught in English. Our coach is happy to support in Thai for children who need it.
